Kennedy Library and Guest Experts Set for Crystal's 'President's Cruise'

LOS ANGELES, August 28, 2009 – Befitting its upcoming President’s Cruise, luxury specialist Crystal Cruises has arranged an exclusive event at John F. Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston.     The optional shoreside experience features a private tour of the impressive library escorted by Crystal’s own president, Gregg Michel and his wife, Adriana, followed by a private evening reception at the nearby Massachusetts State House. 

In all, a distinguished roster of events and guest speakers is set for the October 30, New England/Canada President’s Cruise from Montreal to New York aboard Crystal Symphony.  Physician and international humanitarian Dr. Bob Arnot and Emmy award-winning, former NBC News Chief Financial Correspondent Mike Jensen will be aboard to talk about health, war journalism, the economy, and other insights about their respective fields.

Onboard enrichment includes:

    * Dr. Bob Arnot – The foreign political correspondent and, medical journalist and best-selling author will discuss his compelling book, “The New Journalism,” regarding the new realities of being a modern day war reporter, as well as new cutting edge advances in heart disease prevention and treatment.

    * Mike Jensen – The Emmy Award-winning former Chief Financial Correspondent for NBC News will decipher the financial stories shaping today’s market in his presentation, “What Lies Ahead in a Turbulent Economic Era.”

    * Question-and-Answer Session with the President – Michel will field questions from guests in a candid open forum.

    * President’s Cruise Alumni Party – Michel hosts a complimentary cocktail party for past “President’s Cruise” travelers, in addition to the Crystal Society party for all repeat guests.
