:(  Did anyone capture the Queen Elizabeth ll leaving Southampton for the last time on June 2nd?
I'm too late.

Although sadly QE2 is being retired, she has several more trips out of Southampton.  Final one is 11/11/2008.  check this page for coming sail dates.

Thanks for this - the English newspapers were full of Queen Elizabeth 2 saying farewell to QEll yesterday so I thought I'd missed something.
Anyone we know going to be aboard between now and the final trip?

I have barely gotten over watching the BBC coverage of her departure.  It was truly moving.  :'(  :'(  :'(

Thanks so much for catching these views - oh boy would I have loved to have been aboard!  I started this thread because the news coverage in June was immense lots of `last times` mentioned!  Have noticed very little today - should not be working so much eh?
