Post by: Phil on November 17, 2007, 01:18:03 PM

Seattle, November 16, 2007 – Majestic America Line, one of the world’s premier river
cruise lines and the largest river and coastal cruising company in America, announced
today that a fuel surcharge of $8.50 per person, per day for future sailings would be
implemented due to escalating fuel prices.

The surcharge applies to new bookings made after Dec. 15, 2007, and to existing
bookings that are not paid in full by the same date.

“We regret having to take this action and hope our guests understand the impact that
fuel prices are having in today’s economic environment,” said Diane Moore, Executive
Vice President, Majestic America Line.
