I loved this ship, and I agree, it's a waste.  I prefer its size to the mega ones.

Phyllis, I think the "yellow rope" you wondered about is a floating yellow containment boom that must have gotten away from workers on the pier or from shore.  You often see those used on construction sites at piers or anywhere near water to contain oil or grease spills or stuff used in construction that gets in the water and starts floating away.
